Let’s Watch!

Welcome Back!

In my previous post I spoke to you guys about fun board games to play with your significant other. Games we’ve tried and games we’d like to try. But what if you’re not in the mood to play a game and prefer to just snuggle on the couch with a yummy bowl of popcorn? What do you watch? A movie? Television show? But what?! This week I will talk about which movies/shows Zev and I have found fun to watch together.

Let’s face it, we don’t all have the same taste in shows and you don’t have to watch with your partner. However, when you have some of the same tastes in cinema, watching together can be very entertaining. Whether you like to binge watch or watch week to week waiting on suspense to find out what’s coming next, they can be a lot of fun! Zev and I enjoy watching shows that are full of comedy, mystery, action, and competition. Some great binge-worthy shows we’ve watched together are How I Met Your Mother, Parks and Recreation, The Office and Breaking Bad. Other shows that are still running which we watch week to week are Game of Thrones, The Big Bang Theory and New Girl. If you appreciate cooking competition shows like we do, then we recommend Chopped, Top Chef, and Cutthroat Kitchen. Watching together is a good way to bond and they usually make good conversation.

Though we enjoy watching together, Zev and I have shows that we enjoy watching on our own or with other people like family and friends as well. Some he would recommend are Agents of Shield, Vikings, House of Cards, Arrow, House of Lies, and Silicon Valley to name a few. Each are interesting in their own way and cover a wide range of genres. I enjoy watching shows such as Friends, Once Upon A Time, Pretty Little Liars, and Younger. If television isn’t your thing, try something on YouTube. I watch something with my sister called Good Mythical Morning. It’s a show created by two “Internetainers” which airs in approximate fifteen minute fun segments. The leads on the show talk on a number of topics and even do skits. Shows on YouTube are a growing trend in today’s society and are very enjoyable. Now, don’t get me wrong, watching shows together is great, but not every show is for everyone and that’s okay. Watching all kinds of entertainment can be a great way to have fun with family, friends or your significant other.

If your favorite show wasn’t mentioned in this post and you have any suggestions we would be more than happy to give it a try!

Till Next Time!
